چکیده

The problem of conventional cement mortar cubes is the requirement to be used for their production. It recognized that production involves a significant release carbon dioxide atmosphere, which detrimental quality environment. To adopt sustainable development building materials, date palm tree has been by numerous researchers partially replace in cubes. study aims: 1. optimize engineering properties enhanced with fibers and leaves ash. 2. investigate microstructures chemical characteristics optimized waste design optimization this study, were formulated such way trial mix designs varied ash (1% 10% as partial substitute cement) palm, 5% silica sand). mechanism reaction at early- long characterization tests studied term period curing on paste, including water absorption test, Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity (UPV) compression SEM energy dispersive X-ray (EDX) Fluorescence (XRF). As study's major finding, it was realized optimal ratio treated noticed have 4% 2% sand substitute. There improvement cubes' compared those control outcomes proved both can cause pozzolanic activity reinforcing effect

Palm Date Fibers: Analysis and Enzymatic Hydrolysis

Waste palm dates were subjected to analysis for composition and enzymatic hydrolysis of their flesh fibers. The fruit contained 32% glucose and 30% fructose, while the water-insoluble fibers of its flesh consisted of 49.9% lignin and 20.9% polysaccharides. Water-insoluble fibers were settled to 55% of its initial volume in 12 h. The presence of skin and flesh colloidal fibers results in high vi...

Effect of Fly Ash Fineness on the Performance of Cement Mortar

This paper investigates the effect of fineness of fly ash on the performance of cement mortar. Fly ash from thermal plant is used as partial substitute for cement. Fly ash is used as received and also processed by grinding. The study involves four replacement levels of fly ash into cement at 10%, 20%, 30% and 40% for each mix design. Mortar cubes are tested for strength, water absorption and so...
